By reading the anchors preserved in the masonry of the surrounding wall, it is possible to reconstruct with relative accuracy the defensive sentry walk from the end of the Middle Ages.
The paintings in the chapel
In place in the choir is the pictorial cycle executed around 1320-1340.

In the former sacristy, fragments of the mid-15th-century pictorial cycle are on display.
